Make sure it's the correct workspace

The problem seems to be with the Eclipse/Expeditor workspace (folder "workspace" under the Notes data folder), not the Notes workspace ("desktop6.ndk"). Did you try renaming the workspace folder to workspace.bak? I've been having problems, and this seemed to work for me. You lose many preferences (basically anything that isn't in profile documents or location documents) but it's better than having Notes hang half the time on startup.
